APPLICATIONS

Where Hollow Pin Chains Add Design Flexibility

Hollow pins create attachment points through the chain joint, allowing designers to connect cross-rods, product carriers, flights and fixtures without relying only on external attachment plates.

Start with geometry

For replacements, measure pitch, roller or bush diameter, inside width, plate height and the hollow-pin bore. Compare these values with the catalogue model rather than relying on an old chain marking alone.

Then confirm operating duty

Share speed, load direction, shock, temperature, cleaning, corrosion exposure and the function of every rod or attachment that passes through the hollow pin. These details determine whether a catalogue geometry is a suitable starting point.

For a usable cross-reference: include the existing chain model if known, measured pitch, hollow-pin bore, roller type, attachment or cross-rod drawing, sprocket details, speed, load, environment and required quantity.
